What is the importance of English? Is English important than French? if yes why? if no why?

English is important because it's the internationale language I mean that when you travel we use English to communicate with people if they don't speak the same language.
Yes English is important than French because there is not a lot of countries who speak French and we dont learn French a lot in others coutry.
